Who we are

Welcome to Three Colours Purple, where we capture the stories of departed loved ones, keep memories safe and share them with the world, and then go on to take it one step further by turning these memories into hope. As illustrated by the Brunfelsia in our logo – its common name the yesterday-today-tomorrow, we believe memories keep yesterday alive, compassion empowers us to face today and each day, while hope shapes tomorrow. In a practical sense, we capture these three moments in the following ways:

Yesterday – Through a Create a Death Notice, where it may only be a name, we regard every name as dear and ensure it will be etched to be remembered and never forgotten. Or through a Compile a Memorial Tribute, where we provide you with a page dedicated to your loved one, where you can celebrate who they were and what they did, capture their spirit and preserve their life story.

Today – We share your stories with the world, and make available a dedicated Farewell Letter Box, a comment section below a Death Notice or Memorial Tribute, where family members, loved ones and the general public can add memories, words of condolences and individual support in various ways.

Tomorrow – Our ultimate goal and passionate mission are to expand the Three Colours Purple network to create a community driven by compassion, to have a collective approach to supporting individuals and families through challenging times, and to address needs and foster hope through our charitable endeavors. In other words, we empower your memories to give hope to someone who may need to be reminded of how precious and beautiful life is.

May it be someone dear to you, recently deceased, may it be to honour a family member who left our earth a time ago, may it be an unborn child.

The content, layout, theme, yes, even the language used on the Memorial Tribute page for your loved is of your own choosing. We make a template available with options merely as cues to jog your memory, we don’t dictate, rearrange or shuffle the information you enter. You are also free to change the content after publishing.

We take the responsibility of preserving memories very seriously, and we honor this privilege by limiting activity on the website to registered members only, to ensure the content remains respectful and appropriate. We aspire to create a safe space for loved ones to share and remember.

In honour of the deceased and in consideration of the loved ones left behind, we do not allow advertisements on a Memorial Tribute page.  Advertisements are limited to general pages and services offered, information pages and content are selected to be appropriate.

No visit to a cold tombstone.

Easy to share and we send reminders.
