- Use the Search function below to click and select the Death Notice of your loved one.
- If there is no existing Death Notice for your loved one, navigate to the Create a Death Notice page to create one. Once the Death Notice is verified and published, return to this page and click and select the Death Notice to continue.
- Once a Death Notice is selected, verify the information in the Notice to ensure it reflects the details of your loved one, and not somebody else. Search again and select another if you’ve picked the wrong one.
- Information originating from the Death Notice, cannot be changed. If you notice an error, report to support@threecolourspurple.co.za.
- ALL fields in the form below are optional, and headings serve as cues only to jog a memory. You are free to skip sections and options to upload items, or use all.. the choice is yours. Only information you enter and upload will appear on the Remembrance Page.
- The Title is compulsory and will be used as the page name to replace the words “Remembrance Page”, and will form a personalized web URL link. This Title will appear as a link on the Death Notice for visitors to navigate to, together with your username and relationship to the deceased, for authenticity purposes.
- The Preview button at the bottom of the page to show you what the Remembrance Page will look like once published (is this practical, i.e. for uploaded items & media?)
- You can use any language to compile the Remembrance Page, as that entire webpage is dedicated especially to your loved one, and the choice is yours to make it available for the public to see or for a select few only.
- Change the content at any time; before and after publishing, and you have to option to delete the page should you wish to.
- You have the option to Save the information you entered and/or uploaded and return to the page later. A link to the draft Remembrance Page will appear in your User Profile for easy access (?)
- Should you leave the page without saving, no information you entered or uploaded will be retained.
- The Remembrance Page can be submitted for publishing at any time. Once submitted, allow for sufficient turnaround before the Remembrance Page to be published on the website, as the information entered will be subject to scrutiny to prevent any obscenities, crude, racism, etc. etc. as detailed in our Privacy Policy. You will be notified via email when the Remembrance Page is published.
- Three Colours Purple doesn’t take any responsibility for information entered, refer Privacy Policy for more information.
- Advertisements and any non related content are not permitted on a Remembrance Tribute page out of respect for the deceased and consideration for their loved ones.
